Order Processing
All products in stock will be processed and dispatched within approx 2 working days of us receiving your order. Orders are processed and packaged during our store hours of 10am-5pm Monday to Friday. If you have placed your order on a weekend, we'll action this as soon as possible on Monday.
For those items which are pre-order, you will be sent an order confirmation email detailing the approximate delivery date of your items after you order.
Delivery Within New Zealand
- Wellington Region: 1-2 working days
- Outside Wellington: 2-5 working days
- Large and Bulky Furniture: 5-10 working days (to ensure careful handling)
Please be aware that delivery times may vary depending on courier workloads.
All parcels will require a signature on delivery for security and peace of mind for both ourselves and you, our customers. When checking out please supply us with a physical address where there will be someone present to sign for your item between the delivery hours of 9-5pm weekdays.
We cannot deliver to a PO BOX.
Once we have fulfilled your order and the courier has picked it up, a tracking number will be sent to you so you can follow its progress. Upon delivery, please check the condition your item is in. If it is damaged, please get in touch with store@humbleandgrand.co.nz within 2 days of delivery.
Click & Collect Orders
Click & Collect orders will be ready for pick up within 1-3 working days. If your order will take longer than 3 working days to be ready you will be notified via email.
Please ensure you are available to pick up your order within 7 days from the date it is ready.

The emperor of green teas, delicately smooth with a fresh cut grassy lingering aroma.
Previously called Imperial Sencha, this green tea has a mild smooth taste with pale green hues. A perfect beginner's green tea.
Compared with black tea, this green tea contains less caffeine and more L-theanine (an amino acid that's calming and can balance the effects of caffeine) this is a drink you can enjoy and feel good about drinking.
Getting the perfect brew of green tea is simple, though often missed; getting the temperature and time just right. Many people find green tea too astringent because the cuppa is brewed at 100˚c. As green tea is delicate, it requires cooler water in the brewing process.
Brewing green tea at 80˚c brings out all the benefits of the green tea while leaving the bitter tannins within. This brew will yield a sweeter and much smoother brew with complex flavours not overpowered by tannins.
Brew:
- One slightly heaped tsp per 250ml
- Freshly boiled water cooled to 80˚c (or add a bit of cold water to the bottom of your cup)
- Brew for 2 mins
- Serve clear or with honey
